Southern League & Opens.​

​

The SLO - Southern League and Opens was created in October 2014.

The league was set up, as a continuation of the old ISAC league, run by Trevor Sutch, successfully, for so many years.

 

The league consists of 12 matches, with the best 10 counting for end of year awards. Venues are chosen by the committee, based on the knowledge of local and experienced anglers.

All matches can be fished as Opens, and is open to all ages

For all new Southern League & Opens anglers

​

  • Matches are pegged and zoned

  • Fishing to sizeable fish measure and return length converted to weight

  • All undersize fish count as 1oz

  • Match cost is £15 with £5 optional pools

  • Paying out - minimum to 4 in each zone

  • Zone winners and match winners receive an additional sponsors prize

  • Pools - Heaviest flat and Round fish

  • Nominated fish pool -  changes monthly

  • Golden Peg - win the match from any peg ending in a 5, end pegs dont count and you'll receive a cash bonus

Average cash & tackle pay out per match is £1,500​
you don't need to be a member to fish, but you will need to join to receive any end of year awards.
